Dr. Brian Hoselton, Chiropractor, assesses spinal, joint and nerve conditions, and movement patterns. He will perform a thorough examination to determine the exact location of your cause for disease and pain. He uses a variety of treatment methods to fix your spinal condition and correct the problem. He finds what works best for you, and utilizes a personal treatment approach. As your posture specialist, he can assess musculoskeletal deficiencies, and offer specific exercises to improve your posture and core weaknesses. I want you to know about the new Chiropractor in Fulton. He is located where the old UPS store used to be. He's done a great job at setting up a nice clinic. If you are still in need of someone -- I would highly recommend you give him a try. He is very personable, and will listen to you. He has a similar manual adjusting style to the way I practiced and can also perform a more gentle instrument adjustment as well. He also does Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue (like Graston), as well as dry-needling. He has a broad range of skills and is a wonderful man with a great deal of life experience. His name is Dr. Steven Tavernaro.

Announcement from Dr. Hoselton

On the evening of April 29th a fire tragically broke out at my office, subsequently collapsing the roof and destroying everything inside. I’m appreciative of the outpouring of support from the community after the fire and the many offers of help in the days and weeks following. I am also happy that no one was inside the building at the time, and no one was hurt. But watching for hours as my work building burned down was heart-wrenching – not only for me, but also for my employees. I had worked out of this location since 2006 and it became a home away from home. April Edwards, Steve Zilke, and Kasey Kleinschmit have worked there between 13 and 16 years as well. We were a work family that was torn apart. Thankfully, they have all found new jobs and are happily working again.

After much prayer and contemplation, I am announcing my retirement from the Chiropractic profession. My wife and I moved to Fulton in 2001 and began practice while raising a family here. Fulton Chiropractic Clinic became Total Health Center and treated thousands of patients over the years. Our office was blessed to be recognized as Chiropractor of the year 7 times, a Who’s Who inductee and Fulton’s Top Healthcare provider. We thought our patients were special and went above and beyond to care for them. Our whole office had a lot of fun with patients and got to know many of them as friends and consider them family. I will forever be grateful to the loyal patients and the friends I have made over the years. And I am so appreciative of putting your trust in me with your healthcare needs. I can never reach out to the thousands – but please know that you all have my prayers going forward and I will miss all of you.

I will miss my co-workers. I will miss all the joking and fun we had. We carried on through some tough times as well, but we always supported each other. That’s why we worked together for so many years. I love them all.

It is now time to move on to the next chapter in life to see where God leads me – but I will certainly be putting more focus on my family. So I hope that I will see many of you around town. You will never be forgotten. God bless you and your health going forward.

We are all still stunned by the tragic fire that occurred Monday night. Our work home is gone. There were so many great memories created and so many friends made. But we are confident that God will provide a way through this.

Our patients were so close to us and we're sorry that we are not able to be there to help you right now. We're attempting to access records, but it may take some time. In the meantime, please spread the word that if anyone needs help finding care or have any questions, contact us at totalhealthcenter@ymail.com and we will do our best to help you as much as we are able. We continue to work through the challenges of putting things back together piece by piece.

We love you all and are so appreciative of each and every one of you. We pray for you as we know you pray for us.

Not a fun topic to talk about but let’s talk sugar! Sugar is so yummy and gives us that dopamine release that makes us want more and more. But how much sugar are we consuming a day? Sodas/diet sodas, candy, etc. What does sugar do to the body? As you can see in the picture below on some things what sugar does to the body. Research has shown that high intake in sugar can lead to greater chances of cancer, strokes, MS, diabetes, orthopedic issues, and the list could go on. If we can all reduce some of the sugars in our diet, our bodies will respond better and perform better.

A study by David Starr measured the effects of six months of regular chiropractic care on the immune system function of HIV patients. At the end of six months of care, the patients who had received regular adjustments showed a 48 percent increase in the number of CD4+ T cells, whereas patients who had not been adjusted showed an 8 percent decrease in CD4+ T cells.
