Our Mission:

Counseling and Healing Arts provides a warm, welcoming environment to those who need emotional support and counseling. We offer professional strength-based therapy and supportive services to clients and encourage personal growth and healing. Our services are designed to enhance the client's ability to make positive choices for themselves and help empower them to meet their goals. We take pride in being able to offer alternative services that approach treatment holistically from a mind, body and spirit perspective. We offer Mental Health Counseling, Eating Disorders Counseling, Healthy Living Plans. To find out more specifics about these services please visit our website listed on this page. At our office we do not identify the client by their eating disorder; we see the client as a person with unique challenges that are interfering with their life. Because we look at the person as a whole, our counseling style is not always specific but rather a compilation of theories and techniques that the counselor feels will be most useful for that client. We focus on listening to what the client has to say (and not say), and work towards the emotional root of the eating behaviors. We help guide the client towards recovery and personal growth through various means of healing such as individual counseling and group therapy. Our counseling services are specifically designed to promote healing, and to assist you in finding three-fold recovery: emotional, physical and spiritual. Fees for services will depend on insurance coverage.

We are interested in having a Little Free Library at our office. We have so many kids books and would love to share with those in our neighborhood.

I’m looking for someone that might want to donate their time for this project such as a Boy/Girl Scout group or high school tech class. If you, or someone you know, might be interested please contact me.

A dear member of our community has passed away, Nikki Slocum. Nikki was passionate about mental health advocacy. In honor of her life, her family has chosen to raise funds to help our community gain better access to mental health treatment. Though the circumstances are heartbreaking, we are honored to have been asked to partner with them. We plan to use any donations to reduce barriers to mental health treatment and overall wellness. We appreciate their wonderful hearts and will utilize the money in her honor to help those in need with their mental health care. ❤️

“We can spread Nikki’s message and keep her light shining by helping to make things a little more figureoutable for others when things are hard.”
