⚠️ Placenta Previa: What Every Mom Needs to Know

Placenta previa happens when the placenta covers or is very close to the cervix. This can cause bleeding during pregnancy and may affect delivery.

👶 Types of Placenta Previa:
1️⃣ Complete – Placenta fully covers the cervix
2️⃣ Partial – Placenta partly covers the cervix
3️⃣ Marginal – Placenta reaches the edge of the cervix
4️⃣ Low-lying – Placenta is near but not covering the cervix

💡 Common Signs:
🔸 Painless vaginal bleeding (usually in 2nd or 3rd trimester)
🔸 Bright red blood
🔸 No pain but sudden bleeding

⚠️ Risk Factors:
✔️ Previous C-section
✔️ Carrying twins or more
✔️ Smoking
✔️ Previous placenta previa

🩺 Important Reminders:
💙 Avoid heavy activities if diagnosed
💙 Always attend prenatal checkups
💙 Your doctor may recommend a C-section for safe delivery
