Our "nourishing the inner child" celebrations were completed today in celebrating 's 27th birthday! Lots of fun with an afternoon at the arcade and even a pinata after dinner and cake. 🪅

It was a great day yesterday celebrating Bryanna's 29th birthday with her! A group of us went rollerskating at the rollerskating rink, and I felt like I was 15 again. Though and I used to rollerblade often with the girls when they were kids, I hadn't been on the "old-fashioned" rollerskates and in a rink like that for a longggg time...

Since she's been doing roller derby for a few years now, Bryanna outshone all of us, but that didn't matter. We all had a LOT of fun!

On our way out, we photobombed a kid's party setup for this Hello Kitty pic lol...

It was a great day celebrating Bryanna's 29th birthday with her! A group of us went rollerskating at the rollerskating rink, and I felt like I was 15 again. , Derrick Raynor, Mark Kirk, and .goss76 (who tested for her 3rd degree black belt) here with us, and all the others in our school with whom we share this fever!

Now what, you ask? Duh... a fun form workshop with deerhorn knives! What else would we do the day after testing???

Then off to Rocky Mountain National Park for some nature/hiking time. 🏞

Resting on the floor, taking some breaths after kung fu practice and then a circuit training workout this morning... and Obi came over, decided it was a good idea for BOTH of us to lay near/in a sunspot for a bit before taking on the day. We lay here for a good 10 minutes or so before I got up.

These are the BEST little moments to me, regardless of the chaos going on in the day. Even though I'd already meditated earlier, it was a good time to clear my mind (again), be fully present in my body, and set my intention and attitude for the day.

Cats know how to remind us about the little things... ESPECIALLY about taking some moments to just BE!

Make sure you take 5-10 minutes for that today! You're worth it!

PLEASE stop saying, "Just this once..." or "I'm just one person with a little yard..." (times hundreds of thousands)

We've done the Epsom salt, vinegar, and dish soap mix for YEARS, and it's incredibly effective... even for poison ivy (you just need to hit it 2x in 2 weeks)...
