Another way to strengthen your back?? Strengthen your lats! A lat pulldown is a great way to engage and strengthen the lats. Fun fact: the lats are the large muscle in your mid and lower back and attach all the way up near your shoulder joint!

A hip hinge is arguably the biggest thing we ALL need to work on! We mistaken this movement with curving or arching our low back to gain range of motion to reach down to pick up something from the floor. Practicing the hip hinge prevents low back pain and injury in the future!
