This month's Self-Care Sunday will be the first in our "Spotlight Series." We hope to sprinkle these in every few months. Each one will focus on a different area of the body or specific muscular problem with tips and tricks to use at home for relief. This coming Sunday we'll focus on neck pain. We'll be at the Breathing Space open house event, kicking off Breathing Space's TENTH BIRTHDAY! And year number 5 🖐️ for us at this wonderful space being part of such a lovely community of healers and teachers!
We're doing things a little differently this go-round compared to past open houses. So instead of offering chair massage, we thought we'd pull out all of our healing gadgets, gizmos and whatsits and let you explore them yourself. We'll also have our favorite products that we use in our sessions for you to sample. So come, play, and explore all the modalities we have to offer. We'll see you there!

Attention LMTs! I'm undergoing the process of applying to be a CE provider through NCBMBT, and am offering this course to licensed massage therapists as part of that process. Credits for CEs would be given retroactively, upon my approval as a CE provider.
This will be a free class all about the ins and outs of providing safe and thorough neck work to our clients! I feel like neck work is something many MTs are intimidated by, but it's by far my favorite area of the body to work. I'd love to share my knowledge, technique and experience with other therapists to help them deepen their practice and provide their clients with lasting relief. *TODAY!* ~Self-Care Sunday~
This month's theme is, of course, all about LOVE! Giving and receiving, especially to ourselves. Sometimes it can be so much easier to give our love to others than extend it inward, but when we practice self-love, we open up space and grace within ourselves to soften and become even more loving in our actions in the world. So today we offer you an invitation to spend a little time receiving love and cultivating it within yourself. I hope you'll join us from 4-5 pm at Breathing Space!

Take a little time to reflect, give back to yourself and refill your cup as we explore ways to stay open-hearted and loving to ourselves and others. We'll be starting 2026 off with an open invitation to rest and reset. ✨While the new year brings a lot of new momentum for growth and change, it's important to realize that the winter is naturally a time for quiet introspection and rest. If we allow ourselves this, it will help us lean into our progress even more once warmer days arrive!
✨ I'm also super stoked that my dear friend and yogi extraordinare, Laura Davenport, will be teaming up with me for this Self-Care Sunday to help create an hour of peace, rest, and restoration for all of us. Cheers to 2026 and making it a year full of wonderful things, starting from a place of genuine gratitude and care for ourselves!
