Just as many practitioners don't talk about the unwell Ancestors, they also don't talk about the ones who intentionally interfere--with you. It's not an accident. It's not a side effect of this Ancestor merely being unquiet. If you are European diaspora on Turtle Island, you have unwell Ancestors who contributed to the current state of the American settler collective.

And they are still working hard to keep those systems in place by afflicting you. They are our cells, our thoughts, our very bones. Possession, stealing your power, poisoning your mind--just a few ways they are attached to you and still active.

They do not just "go away." Talk to me. Let's deal with them. Learn more. Do more.

I often see well-inteded spirit workers ignore their "unwell" Ancestors. They only focus on their well Ancestors. Focusing only on the well ones merely opens the door to Ancestor tending. In order to actually heal our lines, we have to deal with the unwell Ancestors. Until we do, we keep playing out their dramas, having their trauamas played out on us.

Begin that dialogue by leaning your allies in cosmology and ecosystem. Learn to talk with them. Learn reciprocity with them.
