In case you, or a woman you know, want to learn how to iimprove whole body balance now so that you can maintain it as you age.
I have been teaching seniors in their mid 80's and beyond balance practices since 2007. What I've learned is that in order to keep our agility, stability, mobility and balance we need to start balance practice much earlier. The best way to do this is to understand how all parts of our body contribute to balance. It's not about just standing on one leg.
Although I use my knowledge of yoga as a platform, I integrate somatics, pilates, yoga therapy, agility and mindfulness/awareness practices into the classes. Balance comes from the inside, not just the outside.
