Even when your toddler seems perfectly healthy, regular well-child visits are one of the best things you can do for them. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends checkups at 12, 15, 18, 24, and 30 months — and those visits pack a lot in! At each one, your pediatric healthcare provider checks your child's height, weight, and development, makes sure vaccines are up to date, and screens for things like vision, hearing, and anemia.

These visits are also a great time to bring up anything on your mind — sleep, behavior, picky eating, potty training — you name it. Think of your toddler's well visits as a regular check-in with a trusted partner who knows your child and can help you stay one step ahead. Preventive care now means fewer problems down the road!

Life skills aren’t taught all at once…they’re built slowly, over time.
From putting toys away, to cooking a full meal, to managing money and time.

Each stage of childhood brings new opportunities for growth.
But here’s the important part . . .
This isn’t a checklist to rush through.
It’s a guide.
Children develop these skills best when they feel:
✔️ Supported
✔️ Capable
✔️ Included in real life

Because confidence doesn’t come from being told what to do—
it comes from doing it alongside someone who believes in them.
So if your child isn’t doing everything on this list yet…
that’s okay.
💛 Follow their pace.
💛 Stay connected.
💛 Invite them in.
That’s how life skills—and confidence—are built.

Around 90% of babies infected at birth will go on to develop chronic hepatitis B. The hepatitis B vaccine is over 95% effective at preventing hepatitis B in children and adults.
