✨ Birthday Babies ✨

Today was extra special around here! 💕

Our first sweet mama celebrated her birthday by seeing her precious little GIRL in 4D — and getting to share the moment with family (so fun having sis there in pink! 💗). There is truly nothing like watching loved ones see that tiny face for the first time.

Then we welcomed another a brand new mama-to-be celebrating her very first baby! 🥹 This visit was her birthday gift, and they even added on a heartbeat stuffy to take that sweet sound home. 💕🎀

Two birthdays. Two babies. So much joy in one day.

We are so honored you chose to celebrate with us. There’s no better gift than memories that last a lifetime. 💝

✨ When Is the BEST Time for an OB Ultrasound? ✨

We get this question all the time, so here’s a simple guide to help you plan your perfect peek! 👶💗

⭐️ 6-8 Weeks: Pregnancy conformation!
A gentle early scan to confirm an intrauterine pregnancy and identify the gestational sac, yolk sac, and fetal pole when visible. If developmentally appropriate, cardiac activity may also be seen.

💗 8–13 Weeks: Heartbeat Check & Fetal Progression
A reassuring follow-up scan to confirm heartbeat, measure growth through Crown Rump Length, and assess healthy early progression during the first trimester.

🩵 15–19 Weeks:
Great for gender determination! Baby is still small, but we can usually confirm boy or girl during this window.

💛 20–25 Weeks:
Good viewing! Baby’s features are forming and you can start seeing those sweet facial details.

🌟 26–31 Weeks: BEST VIEWING!
This is the magic window for 4D! Baby has adorable chubby cheeks, more defined features, and still has enough room to move around for those beautiful face shots.

💚 32–34 Weeks:
Still good viewing, but space is getting tighter! We can often still get great images depending on baby’s position.

⚠️ 35–38 Weeks:
Unpredictable viewing. Baby is bigger, lower, and may be snug against the placenta or your belly, which can limit facial views.

📍 37–39 Weeks:
While 4D facial images can be more limited at this stage, this is a great time to confirm baby’s position (head down, breech, etc.) if you’re curious before delivery.

💡 A note about positioning:
We proudly partner with Gadsden Pelvic Rehab and Physical Therapy, who offers certified “baby spinning” techniques designed to help encourage optimal fetal positioning for birth and potentially help reduce the likelihood of a C-section. These services are focused on preparing the body for delivery and getting baby into proper birthing position.

✨ And while this guide helps you understand what might be possible at different stages, we offer scans throughout your entire pregnancy. Sometimes it’s not about getting the “perfect” picture — it’s about the comfort and reassurance of seeing your little one and watching how things are progressing. That peace of mind matters. 💕
