⭐ Veteran Spotlight ⭐

Our Veteran spotlight for this month is Mr. Chris Ponzini, a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran originally from Pensacola, Florida.

Chris honorably served our country for 8 years, during which he traveled extensively—by the age of 27, he had explored 26 states and visited 13 countries! Chris joined the Palmetto Patriots Home family in April 2022, and since then, he’s brought a vibrant energy and a wide range of interests to our community. His hobbies include building models, photography, gaming, painting, woodworking, and just about anything involving technology. Chris is also a devoted father of four—three daughters and one son, ages 13, 16, 20, and 27. His love for family and passion for creativity shine through in everything he does.

Thank you, Chris, for your service and for continuing to inspire those around you!

Hometown: Lexington, Kentucky

George proudly served in the U.S. Army, spending nearly a year overseas. Originally from Kentucky, George has a deep love for horses and the thrill of racing. His favorite color is blue, and he has a great appreciation for bluegrass music.

When asked what he enjoys most about living at Palmetto Patriots Home, George says it’s the incredible CNA's and staff who make him feel right at home.
