It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Dr. Wilcox's beloved father, who meant so much to the community.

Dr. Poole devoted his life to serving the community with care, integrity, and a genuine love for people. What began as a vision to provide compassionate eye care became a place of trust for generations of families - one that continues today because of the foundation he faithfully built.
Those who knew him knew his heart for service, his commitment for excellence, and the way he treated patients not as numbers but as neighbors and friends. His legacy lives on not only through his practice, but through the countless lives he impacted along the way.

We ask our patients and community to please keep Dr. Wilcox and her family in your prayers during this difficult time. We are deeply grateful for your kindness, support, and continued trust as we honor a life well lived.

We've been notified that the electric company will be doing upgrades in our area on Tuesday, December 9th. Because of this, our office will have no electricity until around noon.

⏰ Morning hours will be unavailable.

Our hospital system and immediate care facilities are over flowing with flu and covid patients and are urging the community to avoid using these resources unless it is a true emergency. We have seen a high number of pink eye and other viral infections associated with the eyes lately and want to remind our patients that as always, we are equipped to handle these minor emergencies.

Please help us slow the spread this sick season!

Back to School Bash!!!!! Please join us Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 10am-3pm. We are offering basic vision exams for school aged children for only $45 with out insurance. All proceeds will go back to Cherokee County schools.

Come see our neighbors at Standard Studio for free haircuts, tinsel, feathers, braids, and school supplies for grades K-12 during the same time.
