Hi friends,

I wanted to share a little reflection from Sarah DeBlock’s new book The Year of You as I’ve just started reading it.

There’s a passage early on that speaks to “the seekers… the ones who feel there is more to life than living the same day on repeat.” That line really stayed with me, and it feels especially meaningful as we prepare to welcome Sarah back to the studio this May.

Her upcoming workshop, The Year of You on May 3rd, is an opportunity to slow down and spend some intentional time exploring what’s truly important to you. Through a combination of movement, meditation, and journaling, the experience is designed to support clarity, self-understanding, and a deeper connection to what you’re wanting to create in your life.

Sunday Social & Book Launch with Kevin 📖✨
Join us for a special Sunday Social as we celebrate the launch of our own Kevin's newest book, Communing With the Sacred: Sightings Along the Trails.

Right after Kevin's Sanctuary class, we'll gather together to feed our minds, hearts, and souls. Kevin will share stories from his book—intensely honest and personal accounts of his most mystical encounters with the divine, found in the most commonplace moments along the trail. A lifelong spiritual seeker and outdoor adventurer, Kevin invites us to see the sacred waiting just outside our doors.

Before or after class I often hear questions like:

“Am I doing this pose right?”
“My shoulder / hip / back is bothering me… what should I do?”
“Is there something different I should be doing for my body?”

These are important questions — and they’re hard to fully explore in a full class.

That’s why I offer Small Group Yoga Cikitsa sessions. With just four students, we have the space to slow down, look more closely at your movement and breath, and help you understand how to build a practice that truly supports your body.

Students often say they leave these sessions with more clarity, confidence, and a deeper understanding of their practice.

I say this often in class — and it’s exactly why I’m offering our Basics of Pranayama mini workshop.
