🧘🏻♀️Recap of September 27th Yoga Snack Session!
Missed out on last week's relaxing Yoga Snacks session? Or simply curious about what these sessions involve? Here's a quick rundown of what you missed:
The class began with a warm welcome and self-awareness check-in to gauge where our bodies were starting from. We then eased into a series of gentle seated and reclining poses, allowing us to stretch our bodies.
Last week, we focused on stretching the whole body. Here's what we did:
◦ Neck Stretch: From seated we took our ear towards our shoulder on each side to stretch the sides of our neck.
◦ Chest, Inner Arms & Abdomen: Lying over a block or blanket and letting our arms to reach out to the sides, this stretched the inner arms, front of our chest and our abdomen.
◦ Back of Legs: Lying onto our back and using a yoga strap to support our legs, we stretched the back of our legs.
◦ Side of the Legs: Lying onto our back and using a yoga strap to support our legs, then taking the leg slightly across the body, we stretched the sides of our legs.
Our session concluded with a soothing guided relaxation to leave us feeling refreshed and balanced.
