Happy National Nurses Day and cheers to the start of Nurse Week! 💙

Today we’re celebrating our Nurse Management nurses who help make Pecan Tree Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center such a special place for our residents, families, and team.

✨ Jessica Simmons – our fearless leader! Jessica started right here at Pecan Tree as an LVN, worked her way to becoming an RN, and continues to lead with heart, compassion, and dedication every single day.

✨ Jamie Steward – our amazing ADON who has been an LVN for 16 years, serving in many different settings including prisons, hospitals, long-term care, and most recently as a DON at a substance abuse facility. Her experience and steady leadership are such a gift to our team.

✨ Amanda McMurray – Amanda started as a CNA at just 16 years old and has dedicated years to long-term care before becoming an LVN. Her passion for caring for others truly shines through in everything she does.

Nursing is more than a job — it’s compassion, sacrifice, patience, and heart. We are so thankful for every nurse who chooses to care for others daily. 💙

It was so much fun seeing everyone come out, laugh, connect, and enjoy a little friendly competition. We loved having all of our guests join us and truly hope you had as much fun as we did!
