We are fortunate to live in Alachua County which is home to Florida’s best medical facilities. While area residents benefit from excellent health care, immediate access to doctors can be challenging/difficult/frustrating. People routinely use hospital emergency departments in place of primary care physicians when they become ill. Approximately 80% of patients seen in local emergency departments do
not need to be admitted to the hospital and are treated and released. EPMC fills the niche in medical care between routine urgent care centers and hospital emergency departments by providing medical care for all but the most critically ill patients in a convenient and pleasant environment. Services include
Emergency care
On-site lab
IV fluids and medication
Digital x-rays
Ultrasound
Vaccinations and immunizations
Occupational medicine
Workman’s Compensation
