Emergency Physicians Medical Center

Emergency Physicians Medical Center EPMC's two locations are open 8 am - 8 pm weekdays and 10 am - 4 pm Saturdays and Sundays. Most results available in 15 minutes or less.

We are fortunate to live in Alachua County which is home to Florida’s best medical facilities. While area residents benefit from excellent health care, immediate access to doctors can be challenging/difficult/frustrating. People routinely use hospital emergency departments in place of primary care physicians when they become ill. Approximately 80% of patients seen in local emergency departments do not need to be admitted to the hospital and are treated and released. EPMC fills the niche in medical care between routine urgent care centers and hospital emergency departments by providing medical care for all but the most critically ill patients in a convenient and pleasant environment. Services include

Emergency care
On-site lab
IV fluids and medication
Digital x-rays
Ultrasound
Vaccinations and immunizations

Sometimes, patients come into our clinic and need to go to a hospital. If you need to be admitted to the hospital from the EPMC, you can usually bypass the ER and be directly admitted.

And because we are not affiliated with local health facilities, you can choose which hospital you want to go to. Medical care on your own terms is just one of the many benefits of coming to the EPMC.
