We are a not-for-profit graduate institution in Gainesville, FL. We offer a Master of Acupuncture and certificate in Chinese Herbal Medicine.

We also offer continuing education courses throughout the year for licensed acupuncturists. Academy for Five Element Acupuncture offers a highly distinctive curriculum with a specific focus on the Five Element tradition. Rooted in the ancient wisdom of the Five Elements and traditional Taoism, our curriculum teaches students to see people not only as they present themselves in illness, but more importantly as they would be when in health and balance. Student Spotlight: Venom Spade, clinical intern

Throughout my twenties it became gradually more clear that I was being called to the life of a healer, but I wasn’t sure which modality would have the right balance. I was searching for the answer of what career could allow me to offer healing that was both emotional and physical, with a process that was both methodical and intuitive. A few years ago, when I was ready for a big change, I called my Grammy and asked if she would be open to me moving to be closer to her, and she said that she was fomenting plans to move back to Gainesville where she had lived during my childhood. For some reason the first thing I did was search for acupuncture schools in the area, and lo and behold the Academy of Five Element acupuncture was right here. I owe the intuition to the blessings of the ancestors and the auspiciousness of my beloved Grammy.
