Our residents had a great time getting out and about on a fun outing to Target! 🛒✨ From browsing the aisles and picking out a few favorite items to enjoying a change of scenery, it was a wonderful day filled with smiles, laughs, and a little retail therapy. Thank you to our amazing staff for making these outings possible. We love creating moments like these for our residents! 💙

This past Friday, our residents gathered together for a relaxing Coffee & Chat event filled with great conversation, laughter, and plenty of smiles. It was a wonderful way to slow down, connect with friends, and enjoy a warm cup of coffee in good company. Moments like these remind us how special our community truly is! 💙

🥞🫐 Flippin’ fun in the kitchen!

Yesterday we celebrated National Blueberry Pancake Day with a delicious cooking demo led by our very own Chef Stephanie! Residents loved watching, learning, and chatting as she showed us how to make perfectly fluffy blueberry pancakes.

The room was filled with smiles, great conversation, and the sweet smell of pancakes, a truly joyful (and tasty!) experience for everyone. Thank you, Chef Stephanie, for making learning in the kitchen so much fun! 💙🥞

Snow day fun, without the cold!
Our Memory Care residents enjoyed a cozy snow day indoors as we brought the snow to them! Everyone had the chance to feel the snow, toss a snowball if they wanted, and bundle up with gloves and hats. We wrapped it all up with a warm cup of hot cocoa, lots of smiles, and plenty of laughter. Proof that you can enjoy a snow day from the comfort of inside ❄️❤️

Our memory care residents had a waddling good time crafting with Dina today 🐧❄️

They made cozy rice sock penguins, just in time for the impending snow headed our way! From filling and shaping to adding sweet little details, each penguin was full of personality, just like its creator. These adorable penguins are not only cute, but also perfect for keeping hands warm on chilly winter days.

A fun, hands-on activity that brought creativity, smiles, and a little winter cheer to our community. Let it snow! ☃️💙

We had a wonderful day out with our residents exploring the Manassas Museum! 🏛️ From local history to fascinating exhibits, it was a great opportunity to learn, reminisce, and spark some meaningful conversations.

After our museum visit, we wrapped up the day with a delicious lunch at Olive Garden 🍝🥖 good food, great company, and lots of smiles all around. Days like these remind us how special it is to get out into the community and make memories together.

We had a wonderfully haunting afternoon during our special presentation of Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Raven,” brought to life through a captivating reading by Dick Ragold. 📖🖤

Dick also treated us to beautiful readings of “Annabel Lee” and “Eldorado,” giving our residents the chance to experience Poe’s timeless poetry through powerful storytelling and rich emotion.

Thank you, Dick Ragold, for sharing your talent and making literature come alive for us, we truly enjoyed every moment!

We had the duckiest time celebrating National Rubber Ducky Day in Memory Care! 🐥💛

Our residents dressed up their rubber duckies to their own unique style, complete with top hats, party hats, necklaces, bow ties, scarves, and even flowers. Each duck reflected a little piece of its creator’s personality, creativity, and joy.

Every duck was different, and every one was special, just like our residents. 💕 What a fun and meaningful way to celebrate creativity, self-expression, and smiles all around!
