To those who are bursting with joy, those who have a heavy heart, those who are learning to balance joy and grief, to those who are grieving the wish of what could have been, to those where the holidays feel a little or lot different this season. The most magical thing about the human experience is that there is room for it all even when it conflicts. Hoping you find the space for what you are holding this season and the circle that supports you best through it.

After 15 years of offering in-person care, I’ve decided that it is time to let go of my physical office space, and transition to a full telepsychology practice at the end of this year.

This shift reflects the evolving landscape of psychology and allows me to provide compassionate, accessible care not only locally, but across state lines.

This transition also gives me the flexibility to better support my own family, while continuing to show up fully for my clients.

Thank you to everyone who has walked this journey with me so far. I’m looking forward to this new chapter—rooted in connection, no matter the distance.

Telepsychology is here to stay! It offers flexible scheduling, reduces drive time to and from appointments, and allows access to specialized care. Research is supportive that in many cases telepsychology is as effective as face to face therapy. This is especially helpful for new moms juggling an infant schedule or moms who have been put on bed rest. Therapy is now more accessible than ever.

IPT or therapy in general may sound overwhelming as a new mom or someone who is struggling with grief or infertility. It can often feel difficult to know how to find the time for therapy or even know where to begin. IPT helps you come up with the narrative for your own story and helps you find a good place to begin, that works for you.
