Congratulations, Gainesville Pediatric Associates for being a winner among Gainesville Pediatric offices for “Proactive Conservative Management of Scoliosis” for 2024, awarded by Empower Change Physical Therapy.

This award is for best screening for small scoliosis curves, esp in juvenile onset and initiating treatment. Early detection leads to early intervention which leads to better long term outcomes. Juvenile onset scoliosis has the highest rates of surgical outcomes, but also biggest potential for course correction when addressed early through the juvenile and puberty growth spurts. This timeframe is where growth modulation can yield the biggest decreases in scoliosis curvature with the Schroth method. Early detection and treatment is a change in the protocol for scoliosis management away from the old wait and see approach, thank you for helping to pave the way for better scoliosis outcomes.

This business has been a dream come true; I want to thank all my wonderfully dedicated patients who put in the work and investment in themselves to soar and reach for their own dreams even if hope was lost. In a lot of ways this business has exceeded my expectations, which can be hard as I do set my own standards pretty high. My passion is strong and yet after 10 years of working elsewhere this business has been the first time I have been able to fully express that passion in my work. Thank you to those who believed in me and referred people to come see me and pushed me to chase that dream.

We hope everyone is safe after the hurricane.
I am feeling like I have the most dedicated patients. I sent each one a message that the office had no power and 75% decided to come anyway, we treated via sunlight through the window and had an empowered day of improving life’s even without AC. 😉
So hardcore, pushing through despite less than optimal circumstances because they value their session!

>Have experienced or experience pain related to your scoliosis
>Exercise, even occasionally.
