Today we celebrate Melanie at Impact and her wonderful story. We hope that you’ll see a glimpse of what goes on inside the walls at Impact.
Here’s a message from her coach April Hulbert:
When it comes to Melanie Clark, I couldn’t have handpicked a better client. I’m truly the lucky one…she shows up to every appointment prepared, asks thoughtful questions, and is always eager to learn. More importantly, she’s genuinely excited to put what she learns into action. In Melanie’s words here is her story:
In March 2025, when I turned 68, I found myself at my highest weight ever, feeling tired, bloated, low on energy, and honestly disappointed in myself. Seeing a recent photo was my wake-up call. I knew something had to change. Around that time, a friend casually mentioned her wellness coach, and that led me to start researching Impact Health 360 and ultimately take the first step.
Before starting, I felt stuck in every way, physically and mentally. I was bloated, self-conscious, moody, unmotivated, and honestly felt like I had failed myself. But after joining, everything began to shift. In our weekly meetings April truly listened to me and understood my concerns. She gave me the tools, structure, and support I needed; from guidance on nutrition like protein and fiber, to helpful apps, movement recommendations, and constant encouragement. That support made something click: I realized I had everything I needed to create real, lasting change.
As the journey continued, the wins started adding up!!! Inches were dropping, my clothes needed altering, people began asking what I was doing, my husband noticed and told me, “This is good for you,” and I saw real progress in my body. Those moments built my confidence and kept me going.
Today, my daily life looks completely different. I prioritize hydration, movement, and nourishing my body with clean, intentional food. I plan my meals, stay consistent, and even enjoy things like lymphatic massage as part of my routine. And when people compliment me now, I proudly say, “Thank you—I’ve worked hard for this.”
Now at 69, I feel better than I have in years. I’m so grateful that one simple conversation led me here. This journey has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made…not just for my health, but for myself. And if I could say anything to someone who feels stuck like I once did, it would be this: no matter your age, do this for YOU!!! It’s never too late to feel your best.
