                                            Happy Motivation Monday, Everyone!
Sometimes in life, we are faced with terrain that requires us to use something helpful like a bridge to traverse over the rough ground or maybe the river underneath or maybe the steep drop below, etc. Well, you can use a different type of BRIDGE to help you with your self-talk!
Let's be R~E~A~L!!
It's TOUGH out there!
But YOU are tougher!
Stop shaking your head no, you ARE!
And, you have some helpful tools at your disposal to aid you in your efforts to persevere!
DO you battle with negative self talk?
If so, the BRIDGE of Neutral Statements can help!
What are Neutral Statements?
Let's break it down.
Negative Self Talk Statement Examples:
π I never do anything right!
π I fail at everything!
π I am so stupid!
Neutral Self Talk Statement Examples:
πI may not be doing this specific thing right, but no one does everything correctly!
πI do fail at things sometimes, but that's ok because I usually learn from it.
πSome days I feel stupid, but I am human and that is a normal human feeling. Just because I feel or think something, that doesn't make it true!
Positive Self Talk Statement Examples:
π There are things that I am really good at and do well! I am grateful for those things!
π I tried my best and that's a win!
π I am an intelligent human!
It's a GREAT BIG LEAP to jump from Negative Self Talk to Positive Self Talk, but it is way more manageable to use the BRIDGE of NEUTRAL STATEMENTS to help you get to Positive Self Talk. It's all about giving yourself time and space to transition.
YOU got this!
I believe in you!
