Earlier today, our Executive Director met with Congresswoman Kat Cammack to advocate for families and older adults impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

Representing the Alzheimer's Association and Alzheimer's Association, Central/North Florida, we respectfully asked for Congresswoman Kat Cammack’s support and co-sponsorship of the Alzheimer’s Screening and Prevention (ASAP) Act and the Accelerating Access to Dementia and Alzheimer’s Provider Training (AADAPT) Act — two important pieces of legislation focused on early detection, education, and strengthening the dementia care by well-training health care professionals.

At Touching Hearts at Home, advocacy is part of how we go Beyond Care for the communities we serve. 💜 Nana may not be here physically with us, but her legacy lives on and we hope to help other families and seniors touched by this terrible disease.
