ACCENT Speakers Bureau proudly presents for our first show of the Fall 2024 Semester! The show will take place on Tuesday, September 17th, at 7PM at the University Auditorium.
Ke Huy Quan is an Academy-Award winning actor after making his vicarious and commanding comeback to the entertainment arena. Ke began his acting career starring in “Indiana and the Temple of Doom” and “The Goonies”, where he then took a break to work extensively on the development and directing side of multiple film projects in Asia. Ke returned full time to acting in 2022, starring in the critically acclaimed and award-winning cultural phenomenon “Everything Everywhere All At Once” where he won multiple awards for his performance and helped the film become the most decorated film at the 95th Oscars. Ke can most recently be seen in the second season of the Emmy-nominated series “LOKI” on Disney+, and the Disney+ series “American Born Chinese”. Ke will next be seen in the Russo Brothers’ “The Electric State” for Netflix and has also recently announced that he will be starring in the upcoming Universal and 87North’s new action film “With Love”. The conversation will consist of topics around Ke Huy Quan’s early career, his experience in the entertainment industry, his prestigious achievements, and much more!
This will be followed by a Student Q&A.
You will not need to pre-register for this event, but seating will be limited. The doors will open at 6PM. Bags will NOT be allowed inside the auditorium. Students with a valid Gator-1 ID will have free access for this show. It is recommended to arrive promptly in order to secure yourself a spot. We can’t wait to see you all there!
