Many Minor allergic problems can be handled satisfactorily by your primary care physicians, but when the condition persists or becomes more severe, an allergist is consulted in order to track down the cause.

Skin testing is done in order to track down the aggravants of the allergic condition. Blood work and other tests may also be required.

Once the aggravants have been identified, appropriate treatment plans will be discussed and begun. Including, environmental control, avoidance of the offending allergens, medications and/or allergen immunotherapy.
