We are a non-profit organization serving Florida’s donation and transplantation community. We help those in need of life-saving transplants. It is the individuals in need who motivate us and the selfless donors who humble us. What a privilege to join with our hospital partners at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare - TMH for this wonderful event during 2026 National Donate Life Month.

During the ceremony, speakers highlighted the impact of selfless acts, honoring those who sacrificed their lives for others. Local PR executive Ron Sachs shared his daughter Aimee's story, who saved three lives through organ donation after a massive stroke in 2023.

Franklin County Sheriff AJ Smith, a living kidney recipient, held up a challenge coin 🪙 and asked if anyone had donated an organ or had an organ donor in their family. A nurse raised her hand - she had given a kidney to her father.

🌸 SPRINGTIME TALLAHASSEE 2026 🌸LifeQuest Ambassadors and NORA (Nationwide Organ Recovery Transplant Alliance) had an amazing time at the Grand Parade this year! With nearly 150,000 people in attendance—including thousands of visitors—downtown Tallahassee was full of energy, vibrant floats, marching bands, local artists, and incredible food from across the Southeast.

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, making it a beautiful day to connect with the community and raise awareness about the lifesaving impact of organ, ey and tissue donation.

LifeQuest is a non-profit organization that is privileged and honored to serve and support Florida’s donation and transplantation community and help those in need of life-saving and life-enhancing transplants. LifeQuest is one of the nation’s 58 non-profit organ procurement organizations (OPOs). As an OPO, we partner with each hospital in our 36-county region of northern Florida to facilitate the donation process, to ensure that the family of each potential donor is compassionately offered the option to give the Gift of Life, and to honor all individuals’ donor directives. With more than 113,000 people on the national organ transplant waiting list, including more than 5,400 in Florida, our vision is for a transplant for every patient in need...
