So, the hearing loss world has a new hearing aid coming out this week here in the US. It's the new Oticon Zeal. It's been available in Europe. We will have some training on it in the next few weeks. I wanted to share this clip of an Audiologist in Europe talking about it. If you have good hearing aids now, no worries, this is something to look forward to, but if you are someone who has not moved forward because something small, hidden in the ear, that is rechargeable and bluetooth compatible didn't exist, well, now is your chance to have all the desirable features.

Show us your snow pics. Here are pictures of my front yard and our back deck on the Manassas/Woodbridge line in Prince William County.

Audiology and Hearing Aid Center is likely going to be closed tomorrow, Monday January , 26th. We called patients and they all canceled/rescheduled to another day. Driving is reportedly not going to be good with the cold temperatures and freezing rain.

Be sure to be kind to your loved one with hearing loss at the holidays. Make sure to speak slow and clear and try to make sure they feel part of the conversation.

During holiday family gatherings, the signs of hearing loss can become especially apparent.
