Red Now, Radiant Later. Before the Glow Comes the downtime 💫
As we enter the upcoming CO2 season, it’s important to understand and prepare for the expectations and maintenance as you heal to ensure the best possible outcome. 🌟
🩹 Days 1–2:
Skin will feel hot, tight, and very red. Swelling and oozing are normal. Keep skin moist with post-care products and avoid any picking or touching.
🩹 Days 3–5:
Skin sloughing, peeling, and flaking begin as fresh skin starts to reveal itself. Redness persists. Continue gentle cleansing and hydration. Avoid makeup and sun exposure.
🩹 Days 6–10:
Most of the surface healing is complete, but pink/red skin remains. Skin may feel dry or sensitive. You can usually return to normal activities with complete sun avoidance.
🩹 Week 2:
Skin continues to rebuild. Redness fades gradually, and texture improves. SPF and light makeup can usually be worn by this point if approved by your provider.
Keep in mind:
Post-procedure redness can linger and gradually fade over the course of up to 6 months, especially for fair or sensitive skin types.
Trust the process and follow your aftercare; your glow is just around the corner. ✨
