We are so very pleased that Lauren Yarholar, MD has joined the faculty at UF Plastic Surgery. Dr. Yarholar specializes in pediatric and adult craniofacial surgery. She has expertise in treating conditions such as cleft lip, cleft palate, craniosynostosis (premature fusion of the skull in babies), facial fractures and facial soft tissue injuries from trauma, as well as defects after cancer removal. Welcome Dr Yarholar!!

We are so excited to welcome Dr. Lauren Yarholar, Associate Professor, to the UF Plastic Surgery faculty. Dr. Yarholar specializes in pediatric and adult craniofacial surgery and pediatric plastic surgery. She brings with her valuable skills and experience that will serve UF Health patients well. Congratulations to Drs. Paul Marji and Jonathan Butts on their completion of plastic surgery training at UF. The faculty are so proud of what they have accomplished and the contributions they will make going forward. Paul is headed to an Aesthetics fellowship with Bob Basu in Houston and Jon is headed to Rush Medical in Chicago for a microsurgery fellowship with their new Chief, Tae Chong.

Ellen Satteson, MD, assistant professor, residency program director and expert hand/upper extremity surgeon, exemplifies this wonderfully with her recent mission work in Nepal. Her passion to serve those in need took her to the other side of the world!!

We were honored to host Dr Gerald O’Daniel as The Aesthetic Society Visiting Professor. It was wonderful to hear his perspective and for him to share his expertise. It was a particularly great experience for our residents and fellows, the future of plastic surgery

Bruce A. Mast, MD is Professor and Chief of UF Plastic Surgery. Dr.Mast specializes in Aesthetic or Cosmetic plastic surgery as well as breast reconstruction. He is a nationally recognized leader in plastic surgery and aesthetic surgery. He serves on the editorial boards for the two leading journals in the specialty, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Aesthetic Surgery Journal. Dr Mast also is on the Advisory Council for the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has been a dedicated physician in central Florida and UF for years and has treated thousands of patients coming from all over Florida and the Southeast.
