Women and clinicians perform can perform proficient breast examinations by learning what to feel for with MammaCare's tactually accurate breast models. MammaCare created a Personal Learning System for women to perform proficient breast exams. Young women, especially those under 40, should learn the skill because x-rays (mammograms) can not "see" into the dense breast tissue of young women or any w

omen with dense breasts. Research confirms that many breast cancers can be palpated, felt by hand. Learning what to feel for can discover early signs of breast cancer for all women but especially for young women. Research also confirms that accurate breast examination is a tactile skill that every woman can learn by training fingers to detect small changes not by watching a video or reading a pamphlet.
