For our April , we’d like you to meet Stan!

He has only lived at Smoky Springs for 4 years and 4 months, and he was chosen for the way he has become a staple in our community. He is always there to help a neighbor and our staff, and he never fails to share a good laugh with his endless jokes.

One thing he loves about living at Smoky Springs is having the independence he wants while knowing there is support available whenever he needs it.

If he could give one piece of advice, it would be to put the phone down and enjoy each other’s company—talk, laugh, and live life fully.

Fun fact: Stan is known for his sense of humor, and if you stop by the community, you’ll likely hear one of his famous jokes firsthand.

Stan has brought so much life to Smoky Springs, and we are so lucky to have him!

For our April , we would like to recognize Sandra! She has been with Barclay House for almost a year and a half and has become a vital part of our community!

Sandra is one of our Kitchen team members here at Barclay House. She is an extremely hard worker and always goes above and beyond for our residents. While her primary role is as a Dishwasher, Sandra helps anywhere there is a need in the kitchen, showcasing her dedication and versatility.

Her favorite part about working at Barclay House is the opportunity to serve others, as she leads with a servant’s heart .

Fun Fact: If she could travel anywhere in the world, it would be right here! Sandra has found safety and a sense of home in Georgia, and she feels that God has placed her here, providing a wonderful opportunity at Smoky Springs.
