Happy Midwifery Week!

There are not enough words of appreciation to express how much I love the midwives in my life. We have chosen midwifery care for all of our babies and I can tell you they ALL would have been worlds different had that not been the case.

I have the honor of working alongside midwives as a part of the work I do. I get to bear witness to the approach, care, and support that is poured into perinatal care. This is the care that helps people feel heard and safe.

I hope you all have had an amazing week. I hope you feel celebrated and valued every single day. Thank you just for being you and for showing up for others. ❤️🩷💛💚💜🩵

Morning everyone, just wanted everyone to know we are ok and have power, it only went out for a short while. We have not walked to see debris yet. Will do that after coffee.

Thank you to everyone checking in. It really warms my souls to have so many reaching out and offering for us to come stay.

We are going to stay in Gainesville. We are far enough north and inland that it is a safe chose for us. We will save the roads for those that NEED to leave. The interstates are backed up and gas runs low.

We will keep everyone posted as we can. My biggest worry is tornados. And I HATE that these so often roll in at night! Hopefully we keep power.
