Both can exist at the same time.

Taking a small step forward doesn’t mean committing to anything, it just means giving yourself space to explore.

If you’re unsure where to begin, you can start with the quiz at the 🔗 in bio.

Constant alertness isn’t always anxiety “out of nowhere.” It’s often a nervous system responding to prolonged uncertainty. Hypervigilance can show up as racing thoughts, tension, irritability, or trouble sleeping.

For many people, medication helps the body feel safe enough to function again, without waiting for things to get worse. Learn what support could look like for you at the link in bio.

Allie Burke states in Psychology Today, “Our feelings are valid because we feel them.”

With that said, it’s important to allow yourself to feel them and then try to discern feelings from facts.

Here’s how to distinguish the difference between the two.

1. Ask yourself what the reality of the situation is - Try to gather an unbiased outlook about what is happening

2. Ask yourself is your feeling “true” or just a feeling - Your feelings are valid regardless but discovering if the feeling is just a feeling can save yourself from unnecessary conflict.
