Summer is right around the corner! 😎🌞

We still have a few more spots in our summer classes this year! This is a great opportunity for kids aged ~3-5 who need some extra support this summer in their speech, sensory, and social development.

Each week comes with a new theme, engaging activities, sensory exploration, and social play with peers.

We want everyone to (officially) meet one of our occupational therapists, ✨ Megan B ✨! Megan B joined Coconut and Palm Pediatrics in October 2024. She earned her masters in Occupational Therapy from Ithaca College. Megan has experience in sensory integration, zones of regulation, handwriting and reflex integration. Megan is a former college soccer player ⚽️ and continues to share her love for soccer with private trainings and tot soccer groups!

Two exciting things coming this spring and summer!!

OPEN HOUSE: All are welcome to join us fun-filled “game” of Candy Land on Sunday, May 4th. You will have the ability to see our full facility, while engaging in interactive activities for kids, meeting our team, and having light snacks. This is a great opportunity to see our space and chat with us outside of your regularly scheduled appointment times, meet other families in the community, and learn more about our services and other local businesses. No need to RSVP, we hope to see you there!

SUMMER CLASSES: We will be offering a speech & sensory summer class on Fridays from 9:00-11:00am, 6 sessions total from June through July. These classes will be led by a licensed speech-language pathologist and occupational therapist, and are tailored for children 3-5 years old to encourage speech-language growth, social-language development, and play skills through themed activities, sensory play, peer interactions, movement, and more!

SURPRISE! Coconut & Palm Pelvic Health is open for business starting March 2025.

We are so excited to announce that with our office growth, we are also expanding our services to include pelvic health.

Heidi Panther, OTR/L is a Herman and Wallace trained pelvic floor therapist specializing in treating adult persons with female pelvic floor anatomy.

We want everyone to officially meet one of our physical therapists, 🌟Megan E🌟!!! Megan earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University! Megan has received specialized training in infant massage, total motion release, and she is a certified breastfeeding specialist! In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside ☀️, going on bike rides 🚴🏼‍♀️, cooking 🥘, and visiting her favorite beach 🏝️ in Kennebunkport, ME with her 5 year old son, 3 year old son, and 1 year old daughter!

Santa came a little early this year!! 🎅🏻🤍 We had a blast at our first annual Sensory Santa!

Waiting in long lines at the mall to meet Santa can be a sensory nightmare for our little friends, so we brought Santa to us!!

Our friends were able to warm up to Santa on their own time, in a space they are familiar with - even if it took some bubble blowing, trampoline jumps, or encouragement from their favorite clinician.

We can’t wait to continue the tradition next year! 🎄❤️
