🌻🥧 Sunflowers & Sweet Pies: A Day to Remember 🥧🌻

Today was one of those heartwarming days that reminds you what life is really about 💛.
We spent the afternoon with our amazing friends sharing stories, laughter, a tasty selection of pies — apple, cherry, and pumpkin — all under a beautiful blue sky and gentle breeze with a golden sunflower theme 🌻

There’s nothing better than a mixture of sunshine, sunflowers and smiles today was a kind of day that stays with you.

Seeing everyone light up as they enjoyed their favorite slice (or two 😉) made this day incredibly special.

Here’s to simple pleasures, sweet treats, and the people who make life golden 🌻💛

🎉 Game Day Fun at Grayson Health & Rehabilitation sponsored by our FB give-away.

Today we hosted an exciting day of Interactive Games for our amazing players — from Checkers, Connect Four, and Tic-Tac-Toe to Kerplunk, Bowling, Darts, Puzzles, Spin the Wheel, Plinko, and even a calming Sensory Station! 🧩🎯🎲

After racking up tickets and showing off some serious skills, everyone cashed in at the prize station and enjoyed some tasty refreshments! 🍕 🍩

Huge THANK YOU to all the therapists and helpers who made this event possible — your energy and support made it a day to remember! 💙

🎉 Friday Fun hosting Bingo at Galax Health and Rehab 🎉

We had the best time with our B-I-N-G-O friends in Galax, VA! As we chanted “One more time,” the excitement grew with every round. 🍕🍰 Everyone enjoyed pizza, cake, and plenty of prizes—because in our eyes, they are ALL winners!

🌺✈️ 🐒🧳Tacky Tourist Day at Commonwealth Senior Living at Hillsville celebrating National Assisted Living Week! 🏝️🕶️ 🐚 🍹

Our friends had a first-class ticket to fun as we “traveled the world” in true tropical, tacky-tourist style! From floral shirts, sun hats, tropical floats to palm trees and monkeys' swinging in trees, the day was filled with adventure, smiles, and memories that felt like a vacation. We shared some of our own travel souvenir’s as we listened to their own travel adventures and favorite places. Each traveler received their own miniature luggage packed with treats as we reminded them to pack “lightly.”

At Commonwealth Senior Living we love bringing a little sunshine and joy into everyday living—no passport was required to join in on a day of Blue Ridge F-U-N . 🌞🌴

Nothing says comfort like warm 🍎 🎃 🍒 pies, honey peach cider, sunflowers, and the company of friends! We spent the afternoon sharing sweet treats and smiles, surrounded by the beauty of sunflowers. 💛

*One slice wasn’t enough! “Give me a sample plate please.”

Every slice was a reminder that joy is found in the little things-good food, good friends at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows, and golden 🌻 moments together.
