Happy New Year from Audible Visions!

In 2022, we launched Audible Visions to make tourism, art, real estate, and history more accessible for people with low vision and other disabilities. This past year, we’ve hosted audio-described events, partnered with local organizations, completed professional AD training, and joined the Galena Chamber of Commerce.

Our newest project will add QR-code audio descriptions to 25 historic plaques in Galena so visitors of all abilities can fully experience our town’s history.

Here’s to another year of building the most accessible small town in the USA. 💛
