To many these are just a bunch of numbers to look at and mull over but to me this is a year of heart work. Building relationships with not only mothers and fathers but also siblings, grand parents, aunts and uncles and so many more. These 56 families are precious to me and I am honored to know each and every one of them.

This is actually really good advice from an l&d nurse. Also get a good doula! We have some really great local doulas!

Baby midwife hard at work today at a very fast and unexpected birth for a mama having her first baby. She understood the assignment jumping into action to take on the job of cheerleader and then proceeded to take a nap in moms bed 😂

2 beautiful babies in the last two days. Both to first time mamas who worked so hard to bring their babies earthside. What an honor it is to walk alongside women in the hardest and most precious job they will ever do. It’s breathtakingly beautiful every single time! 💙🩷
