‼️Rose Glass Reddick ‼️went and reserved thy big pavilion, one we used to always have reunion in, at Lincoln Park, Galesburg-for September 04, 2022 for us to gather our families together—
‼️not sure what to call it!

Last year was final ending— If you have no other plans and would like to re unite once more—
‼️Time is 1pm we will eat!
‼️Potluck! Bring your favorite dishes to share! Table settings! Desert! Anything you’d like to add!

‼️Place; Lincoln Park, Galesburg, IL— Right off Illinois 150!

‼️We have thy pavilion all day! It’s near thy rest rooms and play ground!

Thy Tylervile Church was built by Terpening’s in Kelly township, Warren County, Il! A community they founded and first named Tylervile! Changed for awhile to Utah, then changed back to Tylervile!! My 2nd great grandparents were married in this church! Martha Nicolina Armstrong married Harrison Peck Terpening! His sister not sure off top of my head which one married an Armstrong in this church also! Perhaps same day have to look it up! They also held school here and other functions in the community! It was Olive Terpening who married William Bracken Armstrong! Looked it up! Wanted to be right before putting on here! Just a little history of Tylervile Church! The below photo was sent to me by seller I still have some post cards of both below! Doing this on my iPhone and not easy! Makes me laugh! Happy day!

A gentleman has contacted me on this sign from our old family Church at Tylervile! Would like to know if we are interested in buying it! He wants $500.00 for it! Says what he had invested in it! He found at side of road some where in Knox county! He approached somebody nanotubes sure who and he had to pay them $400.00 for it! Invested another $100.00 in it! Guess to clean it up some or something! Let me know via here or you can text me on my iPhone! # 309-337-5530! Stare who you are and it’s about sign or I block numbers not in my iPhone! He hasn’t given me much time to contact anyone to discuss this! Just called Saturday and again today! Will also post on my page! Thanks! Hope to hear! You can post here, too! I’ll check later on! Thanks and happy day! To me it belongs in a museum’. He has called again today wanting an answer! Not sure what thy hurry is!

We lost another great guy from our family! You can also post things here, too! Thought maybe someone one would! It’s not just for me to post things! For our whole Terpening/Armstrong family relatives! Wll miss Ed! He’s been a staple at our reunion for many years and enjoyed his family ancestors and researching them! Family whether alive or gone to heaven meant thy world to Ed!! Rest In Peace cousin!!! Ed was our President, too!!! Anyone remember who is our Vice-president? Have to look it up! Wish we could of had our reunion this year!!!!

Terpening/Armstrong Reunion will be coming up fast this year! Just a heads up it’s September 1, 2019 at same place same time as last year! Will post more info later! Was just looking ahead on my calendar and noticed it! Been a very busy summer! Hope to see more of you there if you can make it and bring some one with if you can! Happy day!!! Have to find my notes from last year! And Ed Glass don’t forget to save place early! We won’t have Kyle Terpeninq this year to fall back on’! Sad 😔💕

First time in the Horseshoe Pavilion. The annual Terpening/Armstrong reunion was held on September 04, 2016 at the Old Horseshoe Pavilion, Lincoln Park, Galesburg, IL.

We had 18 familes gathered together. Jim asked that Elizabeth Melton to say grace.

Jim Van Antwerp, our president, was present with some of his family and resigned his position of President for life changes, moving to Independent, MO, and possibly not being able to return home at this time.

Marcia reported of Deb Darrah's sister was taken to the hospital after getting to Deb's w/blood clots in her lungs and legs. She is better.

JIM STATED HE WAS NOT SURE HE COULD COME EVERY YEAR BEINGS HE HAS MOVED TO INDEPENDENT, MO, AND STEPPED DOWN AS PRESIDENT, BUT STATED WHEN HE DID COME HOME AT THIS TIME WOULD STILL LIKE TO THIS THE REUNION WAS STILL AVAILABLE. VOTED ON & PASSED.TO CARRY ON.
