Bridgeway is proud to partner with Home Sweet Home Ministries(HSHM), a Central Illinois agency supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness and living in material poverty.
The Bridge is Bloomington’s first non-congregate shelter village, and it provides 48 individual cabins to the community’s unhoused population. The goal is to transition from this facility into permanent housing, and to that end, Bridgeway’s Employment Specialists work directly with residents to help them begin, or continue, their journey toward employment. This support includes exploring job interests, building resumes, preparing for interviews, and addressing barriers that can make finding and maintaining employment challenging.
This partnership reflects Bridgeway’s belief that employment is more than a job—it’s a critical step toward confidence, connection, and long-term success. We’re grateful for the opportunity to work with such an amazing group of people.
