If you're living on Excedrin and avoiding bright lights, know this: there is a natural way to manage headaches. Chronic headaches and migraines are often nervous system issues—and we see resolution in our office every day. 🧠💚

You’ve tried everything:
• Pain meds (Excedrin, Tylenol, prescriptions)
• Botox every 3 months
• Avoiding triggers (stress, hormones, weather… life)
• “Just dealing with it”

Yet the headaches keep coming. Migraines still knock you out for days. You’re missing work, canceling plans, and living in fear of the next one.

Here’s what’s often actually causing them:

• Upper cervical imbalance (C1-C2): Affects brainstem, blood flow, and the trigeminal nerve (a major migraine trigger)
• Forward head posture: Every inch forward = ~10 extra pounds of pressure on your neck
• Muscle tension: Tight neck/shoulders can refer pain into the head
• Nervous system dysregulation: Chronic stress lowers your migraine threshold
• Hormonal shifts: Directly impact the nervous system

Chiropractic care addresses the root:
• Reduces brainstem pressure + improves blood flow
• Corrects posture
• Regulates the nervous system (raising your migraine threshold)
• Releases muscle tension + trigger points
• Supports anti-inflammatory responses

Research shows:
• 72% of migraine sufferers report significant improvement
• Up to 90% reduction in frequency after consistent care

What patients say:
“I went from 15+ migraines a month to 1–2. Life-changing.”
“After 10 years of headaches, this finally gave me relief.”

If you’re living on meds and missing out on life—your body needs support, not just symptom management.

There is hope. You don’t have to live like this.

Link in bio. Let’s address the root cause.

If your period cramps are debilitating, that's not normal. And you don't have to live like that. 💚

Calling out of work, curled up in bed with a heating pad, living on ibuprofen, and dreading that week every month because you know you're going to be miserable.

Everyone says "some women just have bad periods" or "try birth control to manage it."
But did you know that your uterus is controlled by nerves from your lower spine (L1-L2) and sacrum?

These nerves regulate:
Uterine muscle contractions
Blood flow to the uterus
Inflammation levels
Pain signals
Hormone receptor sensitivity

When your lumbar spine or pelvis are out of balance (from sitting, old injuries, compensation patterns, previous pregnancies, chronic stress), nerve signals to your uterus are disrupted.

Your uterus can't contract smoothly (more cramping). Inflammation increases (more pain). Blood flow is compromised (more intense cramps). Pain signals amplify (everything hurts more).

You're not "just unlucky." Your nervous system isn't coordinating uterine function properly.

Birth control or pain meds mask the symptom. They don't address why your uterus is cramping so intensely in the first place.

Chiropractic addresses the root cause:
Lower back and sacral adjustments restore nerve flow to your uterus. When nerve signals are clear, your uterus can contract smoothly (the way it's designed to), inflammation decreases, pain reduces.

What women tell us:
"I used to miss 2-3 days of work every month. After consistent chiropractic care, I barely notice my period anymore."
"My cramps went from a 9/10 to a 2/10. I can actually function now."
"I thought debilitating periods were just my reality. Nobody told me my spine could be the problem."

Plus: We are here to guide you in natural hormone support along the way.

Periods don't have to sideline you. You don't have to suffer one week out of every month for the next 20-30 years.

"I just want to be able to run with my kids again." 💚

That's what a woman recently said at her first visit. Chronic back pain for 5 years and every specialist told her "you'll have to learn to live with it."

She was sitting on the sidelines at the playground and watching other parents chase their kids. Missing out on the life she wanted to live with her family.

Your body wasn't designed to sit on the sidelines of your own life.

Chronic pain isn't something you "just have to live with." It's usually your body screaming that something is out of balance - spinal imbalance creating nerve interference, compensation patterns from old injuries, nervous system stuck in survival mode.

We address the entire brain-body connection, restore nerve function, and support the nervous system to shift out of chronic pain patterns.

A month later, she sent us a video of her at the park- Running with her kids, playing, laughing, and living.

This is what chiropractic is actually about.
Not just "cracking your back." Not just pain relief.
Life relief.
Getting you back to the activities you love.
The moments you're missing. The life you want to live.

Whether it's running with your kids, playing with grandkids, hiking, working out, gardening, traveling, or just getting through the day without pain - you deserve to live fully.

Your body wants to move. We remove what's blocking it.

Wild Bloom just upgraded to TWO rockstar chiropractors! We want to officially announce our new Associate Chiropractor - Dr. Jodi Dixon!

Dr. Jodi started with us this month and sees patients on Wednesday’s from 9-1 in the office. A little about Dr. Jodi! ⬇️

She used to own her own practice in Georgia before moving here with her family. She is enjoying the semi-retired life while being busy with her two sons. She enjoys being with her family, doing yoga, and being active in her church.

Some of her qualifications include diversified/manual adjustments, activator technique, sacral occipital technique (which is great for babies + kids!), muscle work, and Webster Certification through the ICPA (for our pregnant + postpartum moms!). She has over 20 years of clinical experience that she is excited to bring to Wild Bloom Chiropractic.

With her joining the team, we are able to offer more open scheduling and more new patient availability. Feel free to jump on her schedule and see both providers if you wish. You won’t regret it!

Make sure to give Dr. Jodi a warm welcome. We are so excited to have her as a part of our team!

Supporting both mom and baby starts with the nervous system 🤍

Chiropractic care during the postpartum season can play a powerful role in helping breastfeeding feel more natural, comfortable, and connected. Gentle, specific adjustments for both mom and infant have been shown to be a safe, effective, and holistic approach to many common challenges.

Because when the body is supported, it can do what it was beautifully designed to do ✨

We are about to challenge something you've been told is essential for baby sleep - Swaddling.

Arms pinned tight.
Legs straight.
"Babies need it to sleep." "It's the only way to prevent the startle reflex."

But here's what they're not telling you: Every time you restrict your baby's movement, you're restricting their neurological development.
Right now, your baby's brain is forming neural connections at a rate that will never happen again.

And what drives that process? Movement, sensory input, touch, and pressure. The feeling of their arms and legs moving through space is good for neurological development.

Every time your baby reaches, grasps, kicks, stretches - neural pathways are forming, brain-body connections are strengthening, and their nervous system is integrating sensory information that literally builds their brain.

Swaddling stops all of that.

Arms pinned means no reaching, no grasping, no self-soothing.
Legs straight means no natural hip movement, no proprioceptive feedback.

And the startle reflex? It's supposed to be there. It's a primitive reflex that should naturally integrate as your baby's nervous system matures. When you restrict it, you're not allowing it the opportunity to integrate.

"But my baby won't sleep without being swaddled."
I hear you.

Babies who "need" swaddling usually have nervous system dysregulation - often from birth.

The tight wrap isn't fixing their sleep problem- it's masking their nervous system dysregulation. When we address that through gentle adjustments - releasing birth trauma, supporting their nervous system - sleep improves naturally, without restricting the movement their developing brain desperately needs.

Imagine your baby sleeping peacefully with arms free- self-soothing and their brain developing optimally because you gave them the gift of free movement.

You don't have to trade development for sleep.
There's another way.

✨ Practice Member Testimonial ✨

James and Trinity Ann are thriving as weekly wellness members! Consistent, nervous system-focused care has supported improvements in their mood, emotional regulation, social engagement, and immune function. Regular adjustments help keep their nervous systems balanced so they can better engage in therapies, school, and everyday life.

Their mom shared their testimony: “Dr. Brandi is amazing with my two autistic children. My daughter loves getting her adjustments and is always excited to see everyone there, she’s our little social bug. My, nonverbal, son is so much calmer after getting his adjustments and so happy. The staff is amazing and so very friendly!!”

They really show that consistency is key 🔑 for a regulated nervous system. We love supporting kids and families in their day to day life!

Do you notice changes in your kids behavior at this time of year? You aren't imagining it. This time of year can be really hard on some kiddos especially as the season is changing. 🌸

If your sweet kid is suddenly melting down over EVERYTHING - wrong color cup, socks that "feel weird," leaving the park - welcome to spring nervous system chaos.

Here's what's happening:
Daylight Saving Time disrupted their circadian rhythm. Sleep deprivation = dysregulation = tantrums.

Temperature fluctuations (70° one day, 40° the next) - their bodies are constantly adapting. Regulation requires stability. Spring is chaos.

Longer daylight = more stimulation = harder to wind down = overtiredness.

Seasonal allergies create inflammation even in kids without diagnosed allergies. Histamine = irritability.

Routine changes - more outdoor time, different activities.
Toddlers thrive on routine. Spring disrupts it.

Sensory overload - brighter sun, louder birds, new textures, different smells. OVERWHELMING.

Your toddler isn't being "bad." Their nervous system is overwhelmed.

How chiropractic helps:
✓ Regulate stress response so they adapt without constant fight-or-flight
✓ Support sleep by addressing spinal tension
✓ Immune support - regulated nervous system = less histamine reaction
✓ Sensory processing support (brainstem is where filtering happens)
✓ Build resilience through seasonal transitions

What else can support their little bodies?
Morning sunlight, consistent bedtime, outdoor play, co-regulation (you staying calm), reduce sugar, patience.

Your toddler isn't broken. Spring is just a lot for their developing nervous system.
Get them adjusted + regulated this season with Wild Bloom Chiropractic.
