THERAPY!?

“Meh, No Thanks!”
“Those quacks are all crazy!”
“My problems arn’t that bad, yet.”
“I’m not spending that money to complain about my life!”

Y’all- I get it.
We hear it all.
Heck, some of US have even said it all!

Truth is….

A) start therapy when YOU are ready! The first time is scary. But how often do you create space to just PROCESS all that junk in your brain with someone who DOESNT just tell you what you want to hear- but actually challenges you to grow…?

B) you’re not wrong. We are ALL “Wounded Healers.” Otherwise- why in the HELL would we spend
-4+yrs in undergrad
-2-3 yrs in graduate school
-2-3+ yrs completing our licensure?
It’s because we found VALUE in the ability to HEAL with HELP and GUIDANCE somewhere..

—-and, for what it’s worth- in our practice- ALL of our clinicians and interns are required to have an established counselor! Because the truth is… “you cannot take anyone further than you’ve gone yourself.”

C) Most people try to work stuff out themselves withy hair own vices… venting all over friends and colleagues (are they avoiding you yet?) drinking, recreational drugs, eating, shopping, staying in and avoiding, trolling on people?

Waiting until they cheat or threaten to leave?? LOOK- you wait until then… you’ll be in therapy longer to rebuild that TRUST! If you’re distant and cold.. depressed… avoidant… angry… E-MAIL US! IT’S FREAKING TIME!! Admin@mothcounseling.org

D) Counseling is expensive. (Divorces are more) We have counselors of different levels of training and experience in both life and learning- that’s how we try to determine price. We also can offer scholarships and discounts depending on the need and the clinicians availability. Our interns can begin at $30.

FINALLY- we can provide you with a SUPERBILL for you to sumbmit to your insurance. It takes about 8 minutes. That’s what I do for my counseling and am able to reimbursed for the care.
