Recovery Court of Sumner County A proven program to facilitate recovery for individuals with addictions to drugs and alcohol. The program makes offenders accountable for their actions.

The mission of the Recovery Court of Sumner County is to provide a proven program to facilitate recovery for individuals with addictions to drugs and alcohol. It brings about behavioral change through intensive supervision, treatment, and education that will reduce recidivism, and protect the public from the harmful effects which substance abuse has upon society. By reducing incarceration rates, enhancing community safety and breaking the cycle of addiction, which leads to criminal behavior, Recovery Court will be an effective and responsible use of public and private funds and energies for the public good.

Our most loved program "Celebrating Families" begins this Friday. This evidence based program is a family-inclusive, trauma-informed, skill-building program. It was designed to improve parenting skills, family functioning, and family relationships for families dealing with a multitude of challenges such as substance abuse disorder. Its goal is to help children and families to be healthy, responsible and addiction free.
Part of the program is interacting with the family unit with a sit-down meal each Friday. We are asking you, if you are so inclined, to donate a meal from your church, your neighborhood, your company or yourself! A meal train sign up with additional information is included here.
To date, Sumner County is the only county who continues the Celebrating Families program in the state of Tennessee. TYIA!

I am on the hunt for decorative tabletop lanterns...about 3 dozen. I'd love gold or black, 10-12 inches tall with a flameless candle would be ideal. Used is fine and rental is fine. This will be for the 40th graduation celebration of Recovery Court of Sumner County. I just know there are some brides that have these in a closet :) Oh, the event is November 14th.
