New Orleans was a blast! We celebrated with traditional New Orleans Food, Mardi Gras history and culture, and a parade! We even had a Royal Brookdale Cruise excursion to The Ole Milliken store. Thank you to the Millikens for your wonderful hospitality and food every time we visit!

While in Italy, we learned about history, culture, and sampled Italian cuisine. We also enjoyed a live show by John from Music for Seniors, then played bingo while sampling Italian candies! Next stop: New Orleans.

On our "trip" to Mexico, our residents earned three passport stamps by attending craft time with Cassie, making taco instruments, learning about Mexican history and culture, and even taking a whack at a piñata! We thoroughly enjoyed our first day "cruising"! Next stop... Italy!

Happy National Assisted Living Week!!! Here at Brookdale Gallatin, our royal brookdale cruise as set sail. The residents have received there itinerary and passports to travel through the week. Monday were going to Mexico, Tuesday we'll be in Italy, Wednesday we are heading to New Orleans, Thursday we're en route to Memphis and Friday we will be exploring Germany! We will be posting our travel photos and excursions all week!

The Brookdale Golf Card Club moved outside to enjoy the beautiful afternoon. The winner for the week was our newest member Ms. Barbra, and Ms. Trudy got quads. It was a great outdoor club day!!!

Here at Brookdale Gallatin, we had an end-of-summer party, and we had so much fun. Thanks to our friends and care partners who donated to our party. Also, thank you to Music for Seniors, Donna Frost and Matt Bridges for the excellent entertainment. We had so much fun and so many wonderful pictures, what a good way to finish out August.
