…Earlier this week I made a wild edibles, 3-layer Vanilla cake with buttercream icing. I used heirloom einkorn flour, organic ingredients, and grassfed butter.🍰
🌿Herbs on the cake include yarrow, dandelion (flowers and leaves), cleavers, eucalyptus leaves, violets, clovers, bergamot, henbit, purple dead nettles, chickweed, grape hyacinths, bittercress, oregano, lemon balm, catnip, and peppermint. (a little bit of everything!😄)
My son wanted to add some chocolate rocks around the base of the cake, so we did. Great addition buddy!💕👏🏼
I was a little rushed near the end, but overall I’m super happy with it!
…love, love how the dandelion leaves look like pine trees🌲 and the violets remind me of butterflies🦋
…also, to those of you who do this for a living…you must have an unending amount of patience…you are amazing!😆🥰 I could not do this everyday! Hahaha
…though it took me practically 2 days, it was really fun and I’m glad I did it!!🙌🏼😄🍰
