We are thrilled to announce that our administrator, Wanda Whetsel, RN CEHCH, has been honored with this year’s Dorothy Royce Award! 🎉

This prestigious award, presented by the Ohio Coucil for Home Care and Hospice, recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to promoting home care and hospice across Ohio.

Wanda is the group Administrator for Your Choice Health Care Group comprised of Ross County Home Health, Advantage Skilled Care, Advantage Home Health, and Care Assist. From starting her career as a nurse in 1983, to leading Your Choice Health Care Group across multiple counties, to testifying at the Ohio Statehouse on behalf of OCHCH, Wanda has always gone above and beyond for her patients, colleagues, and community.

Beyond her professional achievements, Wanda is deeply involved in giving back—supporting the Jackson Apple Festival, organizing toy drives, volunteering at clinics and food banks, and even turning her family’s skating rink into a mask-making workshop during COVID to help those in need.

We are so proud of Wanda and grateful for all she continues to do to serve others. Congratulations Wanda!
