Our business spotlight this week is on one of our newest Chamber Members, DiGiT3 LLC, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome them to the Gallia County Chamber family!

Founded in 2015, DiGiT3 is a family-owned technology company based in Huntington, West Virginia. They proudly serve businesses across West Virginia, Kentucky, and southern Ohio, including many right here in Gallia County. What began as a small operation has grown into a trusted partner for businesses in need of reliable, secure, and customized IT solutions.

DIGIT3 was founded by Brad and Wendy Goodenough, who combined their professional strengths. Brad brings an extensive background in IT, while Wendy contributes legal expertise that helps ensure clients stay compliant with industry regulations. An Afternoon with Peanuts Creator Charles Schulz.

Join us on Sunday, September 14 at 1:30 PM as James Froemel portrays cartoonist Charles Schulz.

Charles Schulz was a cartoonist best known as the creator of the Peanuts comic strip that featured Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, and all the rest of the gang.

A veteran of World War II, Schulz's first Peanuts strip was published in 1950 in seven newspapers. At the time of his death in 2000, it was appearing in 2,600 papers around the world.

Schulz recognized that comics were not just a medium for children. His ability to connect with people through a four-panel strip using dry humor, sarcasm, wit, and melancholy resulted in an ongoing daily narrative that lasted nearly 50 years.

The popularity of his characters worldwide put them in demand for television specials, merchandise, movies, books, theatrical productions, and commercials, as well as a NASA spacecraft named in their honor.

James Froemel is a three-time winner of the West Virginia's Biggest Liar competition. He has been featured in storytelling performances at schools and festivals across the state. Froemel has been featured in Goldenseal magazine and West Virginia Living. A graduate of WVU, Mr. Froemel holds a bachelor's degree in acting.

Light refreshments of pretzels, jelly beans, popcorn and more will be served in honor of Snoopy's traditional Thanksgiving feast.

Attendees will be eligible to enter into a drawing for a copy of the October 2025 book release entitled:

On Saturday, September 13 at 10:00 AM, Dr. Janice Williams, veterinarian at RiverBend Animal Clinic, will be presenting information on ticks and tick diseases in humans and animals.

The tick population in Gallia and surround counties has changed and brought new diseases to the area in the last 15 years.

Learn from Dr. Williams how to protect you and your pets from this new increase in ticks and tick diseases.

This event is free and open to all.
