New Children’s Social Skills Group: Starting in March!

Does your child find it hard to make friends, speak up, or feel confident in group settings? They’re not alone and with the right support, social skills can grow.

Our 10-week social skills group for children ages 8–12 offers a safe, supportive, and engaging space where kids can practice:
✨ Communication
✨ Emotional regulation
✨ Teamwork
✨ Confidence-building

Led by Ryan Paolicelli, LPC, this group uses fun, real-life activities to help kids learn and practice skills alongside peers because kids grow best by doing, not just talking.

This isn’t about changing who your child is. It’s about helping them feel more confident, connected, and comfortable being themselves.

Stress and anger don’t just affect our thoughts, they change the way we breathe.

When we’re overwhelmed, our breath often becomes shallow, rushed, or held without us even realizing it. That’s our nervous system shifting into protection mode.

This quick 5-step breathing exercise is a gentle pause, a chance to bring attention back to the body and slow things down before emotions escalate or reactions take over.

By noticing the breath and intentionally deepening it, we give our brain and body a moment to reset, creating space to respond rather than react.

Try it anytime you notice tension, holding your breath, or feeling short of breath.

Small pauses can make a big difference. 🌿
