In honor of Throwback Thursday, we’re sharing an oldie but goodie! Pictured above is the Hebrew Old Age Center on Atlantic Avenue in 1952. What began in 1916 as the Hebrew Sheltering Home of Atlantic City—a small house providing kosher meals and temporary housing—became a haven for seniors over the years, first in Atlantic City and later in Galloway as Seashore Gardens Living Center.

Mosaic’s roots run deep, and we honor the legacy of elder care for more than a century. Now we are able to extend our reach beyond the four walls into the community. Learn more at mosaicgiving.org.
