Mosaic Foundation

Mosaic Foundation At Mosaic, we unite diverse elements—programs, resources, and people—into a harmonious whole that supports seniors and their caregivers.

Mosaic (Formerly Seashore Gardens Foundation) enriches the quality of life for the aged in southern New Jersey, guided by the Jewish tradition of caring and charity, and adapting to an ever-changing environment. Like the pieces of a mosaic, each contribution is unique and essential, creating a beautiful and impactful picture of care. Discover how we bring connection and care to aging individuals and their families.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Howard Bernstein, a devoted Mosaic board member and a guiding presence for nearly five decades.

Howard’s leadership, wisdom, and unwavering commitment were instrumental in shaping Seashore Gardens Living Center, and he later brought that same dedication and vision to Seashore Gardens Foundation, now Mosaic. His influence helped lay the groundwork for the mission-driven community impact we carry forward today.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Howard’s wife, Shirley, his family, and all who loved and admired him. May his memory be a blessing.

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.—a visionary leader whose words and actions continue to inspire hope, unity, and justice. May we reflect on his enduring message and recommit ourselves to building stronger, more compassionate communities where everyone is valued and heard.

In art, there’s no “right” or “wrong”, only expression.
Each session creates space for reflection, memory, and joy, helping individuals connect with themselves and others in meaningful ways.

We’re grateful to Laurie Staller Art for bringing this philosophy to life at the JCC Senior Center, creating a space where creativity and connection flourish. 🎨💜
