We’ve held this in for TOO LONG! 🇮🇹💓 You’re invited to retreat to Catanzaro, Calabria, Southern Italy with us.

September 19th-26th

Dear friends,

This retreat came together organically, driven by a shared love for a place that holds deep meaning for us. We felt Calabria would be perfect to bring people to for an immersive cultural experience and yoga retreat. This is a place where days move slowly, togetherness is deeply cherished, and beauty is everywhere.

Luisa is a Catanzaro Calabrian native. It is her first home and where her family still resides. This is not just a place she visits multiple times a year. It is part of her daily life and relationships. My connection runs through family and ancestry. My Pop Pop was born and raised in Catanzaro, Calabria, and going feels less like travel and more like connecting with a way of life that influenced much of my family life and childhood. Growing up, I heard endless stories about Calabria around the dinner table, and now, we’re going!

Together, we’ve created a week that blends yoga and meditation with culture, food, and nature. We’ll move between coasts with space to explore medieval and ancient architecture, rest, practice yoga, eat delicious food and be immersed in southern Italian life.

If you’re feeling called toward travel that feels meaningful, relational, and deeply human, we’d love to share this with you 🇮🇹🤍

🪷NEW CLASS: Yin at 5:30pm on Thursdays | starting tonight

In a yin practice, poses are held on the ground for longer periods of time (2 minutes to sometimes 10+ minutes), supported by props if necessary. The goal is to apply healthy stress to the connective tissues in strategic ways to make them more elastic and hydrated over time. It’s a practice that brings more freedom and grace to our movement. It’s beneficial for someone who wants to pick up their groceries without stiffness or for an athlete who wants to move more dynamically. If you only do power yoga and/or strength training, you may greatly benefit from a yin practice.

Our nervous system also delights in the stillness of the practice. We’re bombarded all day long with advertisements, tasks to complete, relationships to tend to, devastating world news and the list goes on. But yin is a space to quiet the overwhelming demands of living. It’s simple and deep. It’s challenging in its own unique way. Sometimes slowing down and entering a quiet space is uncomfortable. However, the discomfort naturally unravels and dissolves into a background of peace that’s always been there.

🧘‍♂️🪷 Intro to Asana with Julianna is a four week small group series starting January 21st. This offering is designed for anyone looking to build a strong, thoughtful foundation in yoga through intentional movement and understanding.

Each session includes 45 minutes of guided practice followed by 10 minutes for questions and meaningful discussion. Our final week culminates in a full 60 minute Vinyasa class to integrate everything you’ve learned.

This is a non-heated series with a limited group of just 10 students to allow for personalized attention.

Weekly breakdown
Week 1 • What is yoga? What are asanas?
Week 2 • Sun Salutations and pranayama connected to movement
Week 3 • Integrity in the physical body, props, and adaptations
Week 4 • Vinyasa yoga class

Waitlist Guidelines

1. Please make sure you are signed up before arriving. Some of our classes reach full capacity each week, and we want to ensure you have a spot when you arrive at the studio.

2. If you are on the waitlist, please wait in the lobby until class time. At the start of class, any open spots will be offered to those on the waitlist.

3. When you arrive, please check in with the front desk staff using your full name. If you do not check in, our system will automatically mark you as a no show and a $5 penalty will be applied to your account.

4. Please arrive on time. If you are pre-registered, not on the waitlist, and arrive late, we cannot guarantee that there will still be an open spot or that the doors will remain open.

These guidelines are in place to ensure everyone has a great experience. We truly appreciate you choosing to practice with us! Thank you for reading. 💕
