An injury to his back sustained in a power lifting meet brought him to a chiropractor. It was found that he had fractured his L5 vertebrae and surgery appeared to be the course of action. However, through chiropractic treatment and rehabilitation, Dr. Ross was able to avoid surgery. This prompted his curiosity of what chiropractic could do and a short time later he was enrolled at New York Chiropractic College earning his Doctorate degree in 1999. Shortly after graduating, he opened up South Jersey Chiropractic Center. Since 2001, his office has served the Atlantic County area committed to promoting the health and well being of his patients. Dr. Ross uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Ross is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health. Because of chiropractic, Dr. Ross was able to avoid surgery and has since won multiple State, National and World Power Lifting titles. In 2010, he was the #1 Ranked Masters Drug-Free Bench presser in the USA with a lift of 580lbs. In 2017, he benched 600lbs to qualify for the Arnold Classic. He holds 10 NJ State Records, 6 National Records and 5 World Records. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has worked with many sports athletes in helping them achieve their goals and remain healthy.
